HURLBURT FIELD - The idea came to him in a combat zone.
Now a Hurlburt Field officer has patented a new game that could help some local veterans put money in the bank.
Channel Three's Laura Hussey explains.
When it comes to lawn games, Joseph and Tyler Kersanac are discriminating customers. Fortunately for inventor Matt Butler, Rollors is a hit.
Joseph Kersanac, "It was fun. It was kind of like horseshoes and bocce ball mixed together, little bit of bowling."

Tyler Kersanac, "I would love to have the game."
Butler says smiles like Tyler's are his biggest reward.
But he also wants the game to help local veterans.
Matt, "They put their life in danger, they put a lot of time. You think about being away from family and friends and going overseas and then come back and sometimes I feel like they're just left out."
Major Butler dreamed up Rollors while he was an Air Battle Manager in Afghanistan. Now he's hiring vets to handcraft the hardwood games in their free time.
Matt Butler "It's just a contribution if it's just one small part, and you get ten people to do that, then that'll just add up into something bigger."
Tyler, "So once I get home, I'm probably going to rub it in my face, I mean rub it in his face."
